Garth Wigle is an actor with experience on stage in comedy, drama, musical theatre, improv, and film and television. He has studied at ACT Ottawa, The Professional Actor's Lab, and Second City, Toronto. He has completed workshops with Brian Levy, Michael Gordin Shore, Barbara Deutsch, Steve Mann, Gloria Mann, and Caroly Larson.
Garth served in the Canadian Armed Forces as an Officer in the Artillery during the Cold War. After his medical release, he worked as a Surveyor in Libya, contract security, bank messenger for a leasing company, and eventually spent 20 years with Transport Canada and NAV CANADA as a flight service specialist and education specialist before taking early retirement. While with NAV CANADA, he earned his designation as an Applied Science Technologist (Industrial/Aviation Management) with the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists. He also taught online in the Adult Education programme for the Faculty of Education, Brock University, St. Catharines, ON.
Academically, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management from Trinity College & University, Sioux Falls, SD and a Master of Arts in Leadership and Training from Royal Roads University, Victoria, BC.
Garth will be a volunteer fleet driver for the 2017 Invictus Games being held in Toronto 23-30 September, 2017.
